It's just supply and demand. The supply is being threatened. People are doing the same thing with incandescent lights.

I had plans to attend a local gun show this week end, however there won't be many bargains to be had, even in single action and collector items, so I may stay home. Of course if I had something to sell, I'd go, but selling my guns is like selling my children. If I offer a gun for sell, be reassured its a rotten piece of crap.
