Guess what. It doesn’t matter if the White House rejects Boehner’s back up plan. If the House passes, the Senate will come under pressure to act on it absent any agreement between the House and the President.

If the Senate fails to act, the Democrats are to blame. If the Senate approves Plan B and the President vetoeso it, the President sends the economy over the fiscal cliff.

This is a negotiating tactic. We’ll see how well it works.

I think the marxists want the hundreds of billions in defense cuts above all else. There is no way they can get them through Congress so they need to take us over the cliff and let sequestration kick in.

So I like the idea of the House passing a deal that includes some tax increases on “millionaires”. That sends the bill on to the dims in the Senate. See how they like that hot potato.

Altered for the Pravda Press media treatment:

If the Senate fails to act, the Republicans are to blame. If the Senate approves Plan B and the President vetoes it, the President sends the economy over the fiscal cliff and the Republicans are to blame.

yes....for crying out loud, Boner, just make some concillitary tax increases and don't do a single thing more....

extend all the Bush tax cuts except for the highest income and be done with it....say you don't have the dickators or the senates agreement about where to cut, so just raise a few shallow taxes on the evil rich....
