“She had several different guns,” he said. “I don’t know how many. She would go target shooting with her kids.”

She had a lot of private worries, I am sure, with Adam. Seems like she tried to live a “normal” life with a child that wasn’t normal.
Twenty years is a long time to deal with these issues. It is unfortunate that her life had to end this way.
The low class anti-gunners had better tread lightly dealing with her. She comes from a very interesting family and her brother is a well respected law enforcement officer. Something that this article didn’t bother to mention.

I think they’re going to try and paint her as a survivalist kook. The shooter was definitely not quite ‘normal’ but at this point my guess is he was on some kind of medication that affected his mental state.

No. It’s misguided to think target practice will possibly be therapeutic for a person with significant mental illness. Dangerous lunatics need to be hermetically sealed from weaponry. My guess, from the data available, this mom dropped the ball.
When you have children, you might want to sit in Church with them sometimes and talk about Christ.

Yeah, no surprise the dad left. I have a kid like that in the neighborhood, nothing but trouble and dad has washed his hands and moved out of state. I try to deal with him as best I can (I am stuck for particular reasons). The mother is mostly useless and mom’s new husband is useless.
I should add the neighborhood kid is a prankster and troublemaker but does not seem mentally ill to me. Just clever and quite destructive.

Why are they even mentioning who owned the guns? Guns do this all on their own. Every Liberal knows that.

No, I disagree. They have written this to show that buying guns and practicing at a range are why he killed so many. Without reading the piece I would bet the majority of comments are all about how ranges need to be shut down and without ranges and guns there would be no more gun violence.

We can't imagine children being killed for such purpose, but what better way to evoke sympathies of the masses? Remember the four dead Americans, including an Ambassador where NO ATTEMPT WAS MADE TO RESCUE THEM, even after 7 hours of sheer hell trying to stay alive. They were ignored and abandoned to die that night.
