Kerry a man who lied to congress about his military views and got others who lied to the same congress about their service to this nation....they had never been in the military however, they testified as to the veracity of Kerry's accusations...being anti-Vietnam was in vogue for the politicians/congress, a corrupt group who gave Vietnam to the enemy. Good and true men took Kerry to the wood shed before for lying, it is my hope they will come forth once again and defend America's military from the likes of John Kerry. Bring on the Swift Boat ads............

I actually think Kerry will breeze through the confirmation process. The Senate is an old boys (and old girls) club, and they scratch each other’s backs. Had Obama put him up for Secretary of Defense, he probably would have had a fight on his hands. Kerry’s anti-military funding stance would have been a big issue. But I suspect Kerry will get only token opposition at State and will be confirmed by a large majority.
Not saying I think Kerry would be a good Secretary of State (I don’t), but I really don’t see the GOP kicking up a fuss over Kerry at State. As for Defense, I’m betting the buzz about Chuck Hagel is legit.
