New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg isn't satisfied with President Obama's promise Friday to take "meaningful action" to prevent future mass shootings.
"[T]he country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem and take immediate executive action,"

As mind-numbing as today’s horror is, Bloomberg’s brand of tyranny will be worse.
Why would we want to live under such a government? No retirement account, no private property, all of that comes right along with the gun control package. No thanks.
Hey Bloomberg..why don’t you tell that to the people of Blauvelt, NY...That’s where the headquarters of one of your state’s corporations is-—KAHR weapons, gun manufacturer!
and don’t forget to tell Colt...(connecticut) ...Ruger (n. Hampshire).
Gun makers...the only companies that are hiring because their sales are going through the roof! Thanks to you f...g Libs and your Great society!
Demanding a liberal do something to stop liberalism isn't going to get anywhere. They want MORE sitting ducks and death. They're doing everything they can to make sure it happens.
80% do it yourself lower receivers
I’m not going to comply to any law that violates my civil rights at all.
And the govermnent will get most them with out the cold dead finger prints on the metal.
The guns used in crime will still in circulation.
Get ready for reclassification of semi automatics to NFA status. The initial $200 tax will be waived, but subsequent sale/purchase will require intense background checks, $200 transfer tax and even address of storage.
All by one executive order.
Yep. They couldn't wait to pile up their little bodies and use them as a pedestal.
The anti-defence liberals will be partying tonight! They're dancing for the cameras already.
Oh, and that little tear wipe by Oboma? Excellent performance. Bravo. Give that man an Oscar.
I’d like to see someone waterboard Bloomscum with a super sized soda until he confesses to being a tyrannical, liberty stealing, busybody @hole.
MOLON LAVE, commies! MOLON LAVE.
If they do not address the facts of this tragedy, they are just politicizing.
The Mother allowed her mentally ill son to have access to guns. She paid for that with her life, as well as the children.
Is this already addressed by existing laws?
I’m tired of Bloomberg’s pompous arse.
“Undoubtedly hell run as a republican.”
With Boner as his VP?
Meant to say that if you think it’s time to bury them, then it’s time to use them.
Where did you get that info? I, and almost everyone I know, own guns in CT.
1.) EO banning importation of firearms (just like what happened with Chinese firearms and ammo.
2.) EO banning imported ammo.
3.) Mandatory registration of "assault weapons" with failure to comply being a federal crime. No grandfather clause. You could be busted for mere possession.
4.) Big taxes on ammo (can also be pursued at the state level.)
5.) Having the BATFE "re-interpret" existing laws to criminalize classes of firearms.
6.) Having the EPA go after lead ammo.
7.) Ramming the UN Small Arms Treaty through a Senate willing to act due to a high-profile shooting and not wanting to look like "bad guys" for opposing it.
8.) A ban on "high-capacity" magazines as a "reasonable measure" that could probably sail through congress in the wake of this shooting.
9.) Going after their favorite invented bogeyman of the so-called "gun-show loophole".
10.) Assault Weapons ban, if they think they can get it through. They may go for it anyway because they can demonize "evil Republicans" and it is a win-win for them.
11.) Federal (DOJ), state, and municipal lawsuits against gun manufacturers.
12.) Using safety to prohibit multiple weapons like California has done with their infamous "drop test" with has banned things like the good-old S&W Model 10 revolver. Yep, the older Model 10s just don't measure up as safe. What's even worse, is that the guns on the approved list have to have their approvals renewed. Gun approvals expiring have been eliminating guns from the list. "Oops, looks like you can't buy that gun anymore. it's no longer on our little list." Anybody from CA please correct me if I'm in error on this one.
And that's just what I could think up at a moment's notice. They can do a lot without having to attempt an outright ban or confiscation.
