I have an AR-15 that uses .223 ammo. It is definitely not a hunting rifle. It is the same type used by the two homosexual DC snipers John Muhammad and Lee Malvo. It can do some damage.

It is definitely not a hunting rifle. I wouldn't take a .223 to hunt elk, but they do quite well against coyotes and other varmints, so I guess it depends on what you are hunting.
