A crazed gunman dressed in black went on a rampage at a Connecticut elementary school this morning, in a massacre that left the shooter and 26 dead others - including 18 children.
Adam Lanza, 20, shot his mother dead and targeted her kindergarten class at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., sources sais. Sources also told The Post that Lanza's mother was a teacher at the school and he "had a dispute with her."
Lanza is dead inside the school.
Lanza used two handguns and a .223-caliber assault rifle, an official said. The official also said that New Jersey state police are searching a location in connection with the shootings.
Police in Hoboken, NJ are questioning Lanza's older brother Ryan, 24, but he is not a suspect.

It’s cold in Connecticut. I’m sure a long, heavy coat would not arouse suspicion. If it’s an M-4 clone it’s got a short barrel and a collapsible buttstock. Very easy to hide under a coat. Bank robbers and stickup men do it all the time.
The fact is that AR platform firearms are used every day by hunters and target shooters for everything from paper to deer sized animals. To ignore facts to further ignorance is one of the problems we face in dealing with the liberals.

All killers are not necessarily mentally ill.
Many are evil...pure and simple.
For example, many attribute other motives to terrorists besides evil. Ex: poverty, disenfranchisement, or in many people's mind like yours mental illness.
But much murder simply comes from evil desires.
I thought I read this guy was “developmentally disabled” or some such? If so, apparently he had presence of mind to think this out, obtain weapons, and body armor?

Guessing the Bushmaster was his dad's -- in New Jersey it couldn't even be classified as an "assault weapon" lacking several "evil features", like a bayonet lug. It might look scary but as compliant with New Jersey law, unless his dad was a LEO it was just a .223 rifle. I'm pretty sure New York and Connecticut have banned "assault weapons" too.
It sounds like typical liberal logic to start a movement to ban weapons that weren't even used here.
