I'm not the one who calls eminently reasonable thoughts such as wondering whether to keep one's children in godless govt schools, "insensativity." [sic]
Insensitive to whom? You?
1) To the tragedy in general
2) To the families that lost children.
3) To the citizens of that town.
You want to support homeschooling that is great, but Conservatives real Conservatives do not use a tragedy such as this to push an agenda. We deal in the arena of ideas not emotions.
As i have said countless times I am 100% behind homeschooling. I am also in favor of private schools, charter schools, and vouchers. What ever will work best for the family. Matter of fact I am so much in favor of homeschooling that I have offered to provide a list of students that I think would give the homeschoolers an opportunity to prove just how well their theories work.
Not surprisingly not one of them has ever offered to take me up on the challenge.
