Most schools have at least one cop on site now days, not necessarily to prevent something like this but more as kind of a prison guard that makes sure the prisoners ... err students don’t get out of line. I expect after this that they will indeed have armed police in most schools and maybe even metal detectors like they have in most urban schools now days.
