Fortunately the battle is already won. No matter what happens we have read the end of the Book and have the assurance that any grief or harm, no matter how awful, is temporary and will be fully reversed soon and very soon. The only way to deal with life is with that Blessed Assurance. The Lord will take His Church away before the Tribulation; but we may still have to go thru hard times.

The Church will most likely suffer as well for the faith, than the Lord Jesus will come back.

Of course. We were never promised to be spared from difficulty and tragedy. The birth pangs are getting harder and closer together. We can comfort one another while here until the Lord chooses to call His church out of this world. I pray often that He hasten the day!
