WTAE:: BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — Two 14-year-old boys are wanted in the senseless killing of a young mother who had words with them as they harassed her boyfriend walking down the street on Saturday afternoon. Two 14-year-olds are wanted for the death of a 22-year-old woman who had words for them as they harassed her boyfriend. Kayla Peterson's boyfriend, Bill Bailey, said the situation began when he walked out of J's News at about 3:15 p.m.
"My friend came in and got cigarettes, and three young kids followed him. They kept following him and asking him for a cigarette," said Brock Edwards, who was working at the convenience store.
Bailey said the teens followed him, harassing him while he walked the two blocks home to 13th Street. When he got there, Bailey said the 22-year-old Peterson came outside and told the boys to get a job.
"The next thing you know, they just pull out a gun and shoot for no reason. It was just over a cigarette," Edwards said.

Well that wasn't my perception of what Newt was saying. He was talking about teaching children the value of a job while in school. I think he had a good idea, but of course it was demonized by those on the left that wanted to make it about race or child labour. The same people that consider a minor child to be a 26 year old, but want to teach grade schoolers about all kinds of sexual activities. But as far as more government employees, yes it's time to thin the herd IMO too.

I live next to the Newark Food Desert in NJ, and wholeheartedly concur. I’ve adopted a similar attitude to them; if victims of a crime/tragedy don’t look like me I couldn’t care less about it. It is therapeutic; images of wlefare kids being beaten/starved to death (or the real doozy where a girl pitched her infant son over the Paterson Falls because she couldn’t find a babysitter so she could party) used to bother me.
I guess geography is yet another thing that modern “jounalists” just can’t seem to get right.
It could well be that this woman was FROM Philly. “Philly mom”, not “Philly crime”.
After all, she’s still too young and not married with an illegit child. Possibly a traveler, letting the father see the girl.
