The time to fight is at the polls. Once the elections are done and you’re a minority party, well, you’re a minority party. It’s fantasy land to think that you can go to war in congress with a slim majority in the house of representatives, while the opposing party has the executive position and the senate locked down. I know some of the older FReepers especially where raised on Mr. Smith goes to Washington fantasy where one man makes a difference and wins the day, but in the real world of politics, numbers are the only power that counts.
