Anybody in SC know anything about McMaster?
Anybody in SC know anything about McMaster?
What about Tim Scott?
Is this a good appointment, or a sorry appointment? Hard to tell from the article. South Carolinians, please speak up!
I would have loved to have seen Joe Wilson elevated to the Senate. He’s my hero after Scott WAlker.
Looks like this guy has a SQUISH/RINO/GOP-e Streak. Nikki cannot be trusted to be a conservative! She NEEDS Primaried BAD!
Not a the absolute worst appointment/but not good either. A Major Dissapointment compared to any of the other names..... Rep. Tim Scott,Rep. Mulvaney, Rep. Trey Gowdy. At most he is a convienent Seat Filler until 2014.......A major INSIDE GOP guy. Don’t expect much from him if he is Nominated and he will get Major GOP-e Support in 2014 likely thwarting other canidates.
A white lawyer. Oh, goody!
Anyone noticing the National trend? They are trying to marginalize the Tea Party. This would have been a perfect opportunity to set up a Tea Partier for 2014 but ...
Marginalization of Conservatives is in full swing in the #GOP.
Sounds like repaying a political debt is at play here. Too bad, because SC has good young conservative talent.
I like her, but have always had the impression that Haley was wobbly when it came to standing up to her own party. She’s no Palin.
Oh, yes. I’d forgotten about Trey Gowdy. He’d be outstanding. Even better than Joe Wilson whom (I suspect) is still embarrassed over his outburst at the SOTU. Wilson was just saying what everyone else was thinking.
All the Constitutional Government advocates are being told to hit the bricks. It started with Palin being run out-right after the 2010 elections.
Maybe Scott can dislodge Graham in 2014.
What’s more, an old white lawyer. He’s already 65, would be 67 running for a full term. Like a Supreme Court judge, these guys should be young if they’re appointed, so they can defend the seat with the power of incumbency for a long time.
She should have appointed herself, but not resign as Governor. That would really piss off the lib holes and their MSMtoadies.
Well obviously she’s no Palin. She actually plans to finish her term.
