I heard some politi-critter today saying we would have to put U.S. boots on the ground if Assad used chem weapons. 0bozo has been softening the ground of public opinion here for this.

hussein is accomplishing 2 goals here:

1. mollifying his base.To the radical progressives the only "just war" for the US to be involved in is one in which we have no national interest or it will harm our interests.

2. Pleasing his saudi (sunni) masters. Both Israel and iran, including their hashemite puppet syria must be destroyed for the sunni caliphate to rule.

Well well well. I seem torecall another President making that argument...and has been vilified ever since. Any question on where those chemical weapons came from? But with a compliant media and dumbed down public, any story this particular adminstration puts out will be the ‘news that’s fit to print’. I hate these people.

I am tired of the US putting ‘boots on the ground’. If we are going to war then put B52s in the air and do it right and do it quickly and screw the collateral damage.
