More better we work to remake the GOP than to hand the Dems/Marxists/anti-colonialists the entire country.
BTW, I'm one who suspects that Mitt likely won the fair election; and that election fraud is what flipped the count. (No proof, just a strong, strong suspicion.)
.
We have four years to ready a party for 2016. The republican party is a partner in disaster with the democrats. We got here with two parties; only a third will get us out.
“More better we work to remake the GOP than to hand the Dems/Marxists/anti-colonialists the entire country.”
It’s not going to happen... The GOP is not, on balance, a conservative party and it’s not going to be. The truth is that conservatives outnumber liberals. Some conservatives are in the republican party, some independent and some democrats.
The Tea party can draw from all three and become the dominant party.
I don’t think there’s that much difference...it’s going to take a MASSIVE amount of MONEY and some very strong individuals who are willing to step up and work their tails off no matter which option you prefer.
A third party may be no more suicidal than hoping to wrest control of the GOP away from the moderate/RINO/elitists.
Unless you have a plan for doing that - in which case I’m sure we’d all love to hear it.
And the same goes for the third party advocates. And your plan had better include a a way to raise at least $250 million, which is a fraction of what was spent failing to get registered Republicans to vote a month ago.
Forget about the Presidency......for the time being. Start small, start with city councils, mayors, state reps, even go for national congress if doable, but third parties often waste time and money by blowing their wad on a phony, publicity stunt run for the White House.
We need the regional party infrastructure in place for......
>>> This is pure political suicide. More better we work to remake the GOP than to hand the Dems/Marxists/anti-colonialists the entire country.
WHAT????
What the hell you think we just did here on Nov 6???
The GOP just DID hand the entire country over to to the dems.
2 straight elections in a row, against an illegitimate clearly muslim socialist anti-American.
If the GOP can’t handle Obama, then we need a new party.
We’ll worry about the chance of winning a presidential run when we get that far.
In the meantime, it looks to me to be the only way we can get the GOP’s attention is to leave.
The GOP is dead. It refuses to face the political reality that we are under attack from within.
Time to fight back. Sign me up... anywhere except the GOP.
I will start myself by re-registering as an independent.
You can’t remake something that is broke. The GOP in and of itself has deep seated establishment people in place that won’t go away silently or publicly.
1.The rule changes that gave the Establishment more power at the convention usurped the voices of the voters there who cried Nay.
2. They just pushed out key fiscal conservatives from the budget committees
3. they are pushing Jeb Bush or Rubio who is a lackey for Bush.
4. We just lost again with another moderate who all of the so called Republican pundits claim was the only one that could win
5. We have Republicans power brokers behind the scenes trashing our conservative leaders to the national media
What more can they do when some here will get the message -— they will destroy a conservative before they will attack one if their own democrat lite person
Conservatives will eventually have to go Third Party for representation
A strong 3d party with conservatives would actually win elections...because the Dems and GOP would be splitting the liberal vote
Its time for a little political maturity from all...and realize...you are not going to change the GOPe
The Pauliban will spoil it. If you do, keep them out, they are all democrats...
flamesuit ON!
Republicans have been getting elected for decades with democrats. Now it is they who get elected with Republicans.
The Tea Party was not composed of only conservatives and religious Right, but plenty of Libertarians and Democrat Libertarians unified with Tea Party.
Libertarians got rowdy, stood up and bothered to create a little chaos for the Establishment, in primaries, precincts, caucuses and at the Convention Rules Committee.
Failing to grow a storm with Libertarian allies inside the Republican Party sidelines a bunch of rigidly constitutional loving voters. Conservatives love the Constitution also, but for the parts where they don’t agree with it.
This message brought to you by the GOP. (BTW: Mitt Romney was "The Only Candidate Who Can Win". In 2016, it will be Jeb Bush's turn to be "The Only Candidate Who Can Win".)
Instead of abandoning the Republican Party right now, try this. Create a Tea Party Caucus (or a similar name) for those GOPers who don’t like the Boehner/Cantor/McCarthy ruling clique and want real change at the top.
Use this caucus to either sit out votes in Congress which the Republicans would normally win in the House, or just vote present. Let the Dems win a few at the expense of Boehner and company. Then see if he will give up the leadership of the House Republicans for someone who has a backbone.
Another tactic would be for just enough Tea Partiers to LEAVE the GOP, so that the vote count in the House would be even between the GOP and the Dems (or one short for the GOP).
Since the Dems are not going to come over to the Republicans on a vote, the Boehner group would NEED the Tea Party Caucus votes to pass anything, or even to survive the next two years as a viable force. They don’t like unemployment as much as any one. Too many perks to let go.
The Tea Party Caucus (TPC) would be the power-broker of the old GOP and the foundation force of a new, more conservative, principled GOP.
Call Boehner’s bluff. He hasn’t had any balls in the past, so wht makes you thing he’d suddenly grow a pair in the near future. Get rid of him any way you can. The GOP needs more than a house-cleaning. It needs a purge of the TOP.
And if you want to really hurt the House GOP, have the TPC vote with the Dems a few times on legislation. That would emasculate Boehner’s power like nothing else.
If you’re going to play hardball in politics, you need a very big bat, a very big cup, and the balls to use the bat to protect your balls, while knocking off those of your opponents.
To rewrite an old high school cheer from the 60’s.
The Tea Party has the spirit,
The Tea Party has the guts,
The Tea Party has Boehner by the nuts
Pull, team, pull!
I guess you didn't read the news, or you are a party hack for the Establishment Collaborators.
Boehner, GOP Leaders Purge Conservatives from Committees
The GOP itself committed more than suicide by collaborating with the MarxoFascists- they may well be the arm that carries out genocide against Conservatives if history repeats itself.
Oooh, I like your idea. Are they infiltrators, or a contingency of Romney supporters as socialist minded as he was?
The truth is that conservatives outnumber liberals. Some conservatives are in the republican party, some independent and some democrats.
Really? Oh then we won the 2012 election.. It must have been a dream I had... I could have sworn that The leftist Marxist Obama won... There were allot of conservatives voting for Obama!!!
The Republican Party is no longer my party.
Give us Sarah Palin and Allen West, Cruz, Cuccinelli, Martinez and a few others and we are off to the races.
Parties seem to be becoming OBSOLETE...
Leftist, leftist lite, leftist lighter, and leftist even more lite..
There seems NOT TO BE any right wing party at all.. anywhere...
One ideological bent all socialist..
Libertarians seem to have Political Tourettes...
They are given to logic until they go gaw-gaw.. eye-rolling drooling bananas.. sad really..
