Obama Endorses Debbie Wasserman Schultz for a Second Term as DNC Chief Daniel Halper December 3, 2012 8:39 AM
President Barack Obama will endorse Debbie Wasserman Schultz for a second term as Democratic National Committee chief, a Democratic official tells Politico.
"Because of the outstanding job she has done, the President will ask the members of the Democratic National Committee to ratify his choice of [Rep.] Debbie Wasserman Schultz to continue leading the Party as Chair when they meet in January," an anonymous "senior Democratic official" tells Mike Allen. "The DNC will meet [in Washington on Jan. 22], the day after President Obama is sworn in for a second term, with the primary item of business being electing party officers, including the DNC Chair."
"Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz has served as Chair since shortly after Tim Kaine stepped down to run for the U.S. Senate in Virginia in the spring of 2011. With President Obama at the top of the ticket and Wasserman Schultz leading the Party, Democrats won the presidency, expanded its majority in the Senate and picked up seats in the House."
Allen also points to the fact that Obama won Wasserman Schultz's home state of Florida in the 2012 presidential election.
Of course. Why not stick with what works? Plus it keeps the tension growing between Nasty Pelozi and Mayo Hair Girl.
We should counter with Sarah.
“...given the fact that one needs scientific notation to correctly classify his degree of ineptness - he has few choices on this earth who are indeed more idiotic than he....”
Ummmm, keep in mind this is the world’s smartest black man you’re discussing here and that he is the left’s “messiah”. /s
Just remember: “you can’t polish a turd.” No amount of political correctness or affirmative action will change that.
He knows having wackos around making assinine statements keeps some of the spotlight off of himself.
