Gazans Crossing Fence "into IDF Positions"
Virtual Jerusalem ^ | 11/27/2012

IDF soldiers stationed along the border fence with Gaza say they have received new orders on opening fire, which allow Arabs in Gaza to endanger soldiers and Israeli civilians in nearby communities.

"Between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. there are hundreds and possibly thousands of people roaming near the fence, including uniformed Hamas men," a soldier told Channel 2. His identity was disguised to avoid trouble from the IDF.

"They crossed the fence several times and went into our forces' positions and destroyed IDF property. The forces cannot push them away from the fence because they may not even fire in the air."

Netanyahu is playing the same appeasement game as in the past where each Israeli concession or restraint is repaid in Jewish blood. Bibi is going to have to scramble hard to not lose the next election because both the left and many on the right will work against him.

What, no snipers with shoot to kill orders for anyone crossing the border without authorization?

I'd have signs saying "Cross without authorization and become a Martyr".

Put them every 200 yards and I'll bet things will quiet down real quick.

ceasefire

Just let them build up to significant numbers, and then let loose with the bayonets, axes, hammers and broadswords. No "firing"...just slashing and screaming.

“Netanyahu is playing the same appeasement game as in the past where each Israeli concession or restraint is repaid in Jewish blood. Bibi is going to have to scramble hard to not lose the next election because both the left and many on the right will work against him.”

No he isn’t. He is waiting for precisely after the election to let loose and wail on the Muzzies. Bibi couldn’t risk a bloodbath that would occur if Israeli troops went into Gaza for hand to hand, street to street combat. Too many Israeli soldiers would die and too big a percentage of Israeli citizens would then turn on Bibi. He might not win re-election then, and it is imperative that he win first, polish off the Gazan’s next.

A poll done during the missile attacks by Gaza terrorists showed that the vast majority of Israeli’s were for responding by air attacks and missile retaliation. As to actually going into Gaza for close-in combat, ... not so much. Bibi is a very smart man. He knew right now before the election was not a good time. He knows that after the election, a good time, after he locks in the election. More people are praising his tactics right now in Israel, than aren’t. Bibi will win, and then he makes his moves.
