You’re a poor judge of character if you think that we do not judge ourselves. We examine our consciences, confess our sins, and pray for God’s forgiveness, so I don’t understand why you would say such a silly thing, since you know Christian hearts and minds so very well, and all.
Do you forgive someone who has committed murder? Do you forgive a terrorist? Let’s say there was a a child growing up in a home where he or she had no mother and their father was no where to be found, so they were passed around to various foster homes, this now grown adult falls in with the wrong crowd, and he or she is forced into the porn industry due to a drug addiction that was forced on them by an abusive man or woman, they have never had any foundation for religion, and this person commits murder to get away from this abusive man or woman, and they are executed for their crime. Now, will this person, who has never had stability nor a religious foundation due to the circumstances they were born into, be saved? Having never known Jesus all their lives. Are they given a chance at redemption?
