HOUSTON (CBS Houston) — Stop thinking that all porn actresses are “damaged goods.”
A new study finds that female porn stars are more religious and have a higher self-esteem than other women.
The study, which was published in the Journal of Sex Research, concluded that these women do not fit the “damaged goods hypothesis.”
“In terms of psychological characteristics, porn actresses had higher levels of self-esteem, positive feelings, social support, sexual satisfaction, and spirituality compared to the matched group,” the study titled “Pornography Actresses: An Assessment of the Damaged Goods Hypothesis” concluded.
The study compared 177 porn actresses to a sample of women based on age, race and marital status.
According to the Toronto Sun, researchers shot down the ideas that women who work in porn came from broken families or hostile backgrounds.
The study also found that women working in porn tried more drugs, had their first sexual experience at a younger age and had more sexual partners than those in the sample group.
The study was conducted by researchers from Texas Woman’s University, Shippensburg University and Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation.
That wouldn’t apply to the she types.
But anyhow, what SORT of religion? Several flavors of paganism would lend themselves handily to this sort of vocation.

There’s something about being narcissistic AND totally out of touch with social norms that make for high self esteem.
No, Jesus doesn’t watch porn, He just wants to help and save as many sinners as possible, the way to the Father is through Him, Porn stars are sick and they need His help too, so are criminals, porn stars can be saved, Jesus is very forgiving, Jesus sacrificed Himself for our sins, for we are all sinners, we are all flawed, yet Jesus loves us all the same, take care!

I think people are going to be surprised who makes it into Heaven first, Jesus wants everyone to be given a chance to find His truth, even porn stars!

The kind of arrogance that one would have to have to be willing to engage in that kind of lifestyle could be misinterpreted as *self-esteem*.

Christians know their value to God and have NO reason to have poor self-esteem. They know who they are and what they're worth to Him.
They're worth enough for Him to come to the earth and die an excruciating death for.
No, they are not sick. They are sinners, like the rest of us.
Sin is a choice, not an illness one catches and can't do anything about.

Learn to separate the sin from the sinner. Condemning the sin is NOT condemning the sinner.
You took me out of context, here’s an idea instead of going to church every Sunday, how’bout going to a prison and praying with someone who needs it or feed the poor!
Sin is a sickness, we are all sick, you shouldn’t judge porn stars for making a choice, you don’t know why they made poor decisions, they may have been abused or come from broken homes, you don’t know, it’s easy for one to judge from one’s ivory tower, you can turn your back on their sin or you can try and help, Jesus helps all of us, He does not pick and choose who needs His help, He is here for everyone, if they ask for it, He will help, and I pray for the porn industry and its’ stars because they need His help! Christians are in for a big surprise when they see who is let into the Kingdom first, Jesus said: “The first shall be last!”

Good, I have yet to meet a Christian who doesn’t judge everyone else but themselves, maybe you should focus on yourself before you judge me, I could care less, Jesus will judge me not you!
