That’s actually an interesting question. Where do the growing list of failed GOP presidential candidates fit within the GOPe? How much influence does Dole have (is he still alive?) Does anyone in the GOPe listen to McCain? Can Romney still pull any levers ( beyond the ones any billionaire can pull).
As the most hard left nominee ever, Romney represented an extensive liberal agenda, he will have a voice with rinos.
For one thing, Romney will want to continue to promote and defend Romney/Obamacare, and of course he agreed with homosexualizing the Boy Scouts and the military, and he wanted to make the party platform pro-abortion, so he has a voice with those who share his anti-social conservative/antiReagan, agenda.
