and if government got out of the way they'd compete again like they did in the olden days
Some regulations are horrible...Some regulations are good...
Since the gov't got rid of the anti-trust laws, competition is pretty much non existant...The guy with the big bucks just buys up the fresh-start competition...
With some sort of protection for the U.S., people couldn't afford the price fixing of the manufacturers and the gov't would be forced to re-look over the now extinct anti-trust laws, again allowing competition...
