I have read that when all the benefits are comprehended, that about $40k is the break even number for working vs going on unemployment as that’s about what all the available benefits add up to. However, the number may be even higher in this instance.

Are they retarded?
No, now they get unemployment, food stamps, and all other benefits. Result...good living and they don't have to work, I love seeing my tax dollars benefit the lazy takers.

"Your weekly benefit amount (WBA) is 4 percent of the average of your two highest quarters in the base period (highest quarter and second highest quarter quarter /2 x 0.04 = WBA). Missouri′s maximum WBA is $320."...or $16,640/year.
By my top-of-my-head calculation, Teamsters Twinkie Truck drivers were making about $130K, but even at $35k, it sounds like he'd need to cut back a little on his beer budget. I wouldn't say that these people are exactly "retarded" -- but when did public schools stop teaching about arithmetic???

Are Union thugs retarded?
That is a redundant question.
I think it is required.
