The reports always say things like "12 dead" like it was a loss of robots.
When Palestinians die, especially if Israel can be blamed, then it's 12 dead, including 7 civilians, one of them an 8-year old boy.
No mention of the 5 non-civilian targets who were manning a rocket launcher in a school yard.

That's because typically eleven of the twelve dead would be "civilians" only in the sense that they were not in officially uniformed fighters - even though all were terrorists. The 8-year old boy would either have been volunteered to stand next to the launcher to die from the counterstrike, or would have been brought from a car accident or other accidental death to the scene of an Israeli strike for the cameras.
