Doug Mansky, a Hostess driver in Detroit and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, was in the process of moving to a cheaper condominium on Tuesday, after his union had agreed to an 8% pay cut that he said would shave $200 a week from his income. This driver made $130K a year. Hostess needed it cut to $120K. This guy makes the UAW look like a bunch of paupers.

"Doug Mansky, a Hostess driver in Detroit and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, was in the process of moving to a cheaper condominium on Tuesday"The whole sentence is a non-starter non sequitur. There are no "cheaper condominiums" in Detroit. They're all cheap...

When those trucks begin moving from Medico to the US, I believe their transit is covered under NAFTA. My guess is the drivers are not in the union.
130K a year to drive a truck??? WOW. My uncle was a route guy driving a truck for 40 years and never made a third of that and his pay included commissions.

After almost 2 years of being unemployed and underemployed ( and glad to have a job even if temporary) I am just having one heck of a time dredging up any sympathy for any of these union folks.
