Now there is reported trouble with one ballot that didn’t load so they will have to certify the “original” results?
What the heck?

I'm not there, but it looks like the voting systems used there are really faulty. This is the Supervisor's responsibility, if that's any consolation, and should seal her fate. Each precinct paper ballots are counted (tabulated) by machine. The data is downloaded to a "memory card" like you may use on you own computer. That is then "uploaded" into the total data. The last memory card (or tabulating machine)is clearly faulty- showing 900 votes instead of 7. The good news is the Supervisor's public admission of major errors on the original count she certified, the box of votes never counted, the clearly faulty equipment, coupled with whatever additional errors were found by this retabulation, make West's contest lawsuit a slam dunk. At that point a judge can order about anything he/she chooses- ! Disappointing West's lawyer is once again asking the court to do something beyond their jurisdiction-(extend the deadline) only the state canvassing board (Governor, + 2 Cabinet members) can declare an emergency to allow an extension. The law pertaining to emergencies deals with hurricanes, etc, not incompetence. So he will be denied, AGAIN- giving the Dems more to crow about. Instead, they should have IMMEDIATELY filed a contest action.
