One thing I just found out today at work is a nice little nugget tucked in the Dodd-Frank bill. They have classified gold, tungsten, and titanium as conflict metals. All our suppliers now have to certify that none of these metals are “conflict” metals. It is a huge compliance issue for us with all the wiring and pcbas
I understand. I use copper wire day in and day out. My point was not that the regulations do not cripple business. They do.
