'What I still cannot understand is how a good Buddhist could ever take part in competitive sports. As a catcher, he would need to desire to catch the ball. As a hitter, desire to hit it. Key to bliss=removal of desire, having no desires. That's how the fat smiling Buddha came about. One way to have none, is to be satiated.

it is your desires which harm your inner man. Perhaps your catcher may lead you to the way of peace & bliss, then you may both hang up the gloves, shave your heads and be happy.

No, my feelings are not hurt at all. It looks like yours might be, since you were talking behind my back. I’m with the other guy. I don’t care. Holy rollers simply amuse me . . . especially when they act like little children.
