There are moral reasons to support mass expulsion. Do you really want to tear millions of children away from the only home they have ever known and loved? Such an action is cruel beyond words.

The Constitution gives Congress the authority to determine rules of naturalization, and our economy would be devastated by the loss of so many workers.

Correction: There are moral reasons not to support mass expulsion.

There are reasons why we have a constitution, borders, immigration laws, criminal laws, etc. It’s something to do with securing the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, OUR children. I feel for all the people of the world who live in poverty under socialist or totalitarian rule or under complete lawlessness, but I have no compelling urge to join them or to leave our children to live in a socialist third world state.

Blame the parents who came here illegally and gave birth to them, knowingly risking deportation. Don't blame a nation for trying to secure its own borders.

Strawman. I don't know of any current politician who is advocating Operation Wetback 2 (Eisenhower). Speaking of compassion, do we let in 7 billion people who have not come here yet? In effect, that is what another amnesty will say to those people.
