Indeed it’s not going to happen and it just contributes to the “Conservatives are loons” meme which helps to lose more elections.

A complete waste of time. People need to be more concerned about the image that the Right projects and less concerned about pointless things that make them feel good.

The fact that the media was silent when liberals did this in 04 should serve as a warning.

It was never about leaving, it was about starting a conversion on the rights of self-government. If that means down the road we realize we have to sever the bonds that have connected us(which looks pretty good to be frank) so be it.

Why is it a waste of time and effort? The effort has been tiny so far as well as the time. And it's creating a conversation about the true and right role of government AND it shows people are pissed.

How is that bad?
