"Rove is pondering new missions for Crossroads to address weaknesses laid bare by the GOPs back-to-back failures to win the White House and the fact that the party fell short when expected to win back the Senate."
"Where until now it battled only in general elections and against Democrats, Crossroads is considering whether to start picking sides in Republican primaries. The idea would be to boost the candidate it deems most electable and avoid nominating the kind of flawed and extreme ones who cost the party what should otherwise have been easy Senate wins in Florida, Missouri and Indiana."
"That, however, could put Crossroads at odds with the tea party and other groups that devote their energies to promoting the most ideologically pure contenders."
"Crossroads also is likely to invest more deeply in organizations such as the Republican State Leadership Committee, which has been trying to build a more appealing GOP farm team by, among other things, recruiting Hispanic candidates to run for state-level office.".....

FUKR!! Chief architect of the Romney Flustercluck.
Karl Rove is a Democrat pretending to be a Republican - that is what this article is all about.
And the move Left begins.
Two words for Karl: Ted Cruz.
If their TV ad strategy is as effective as it was for Romney, it’s likely to help tea party candidates.
I want to use a bunch of four letter words. Hasn’t Rove already caused enough damage to the GOP. Just a reminder Rove a bunch of establishment Senate candidates lost too or Allen and Thompson don’t count.
Correct title:
Karl Rove and his super PAC vow to press on
= = = = =
So, 2012 was a $300 Million “learning experience” for Rove.
He will not have learned anything, if he wants to run RINO squishes.
Only Conservatives actually win races.
I have no doubt they want to blame the Tea Party. I also have very little trust for the Washington Post.
Scoundrels abound anymore.
How many knives does this make so far, Karl? You’ve been trying to kill the Tea Party since its birth.
Karl Rove isnt just trying to take out the Tea Party...he is trying to take out the whole GOP
The best way to counter Rove is to go after the GOP Talk Heads and GOP Media who give this man a platform to speak. Stop listening to their shows, and let their advertisers...especially the local advertisers who buy ads during these programs.
Rove cannot win elections....and he is a whipping boy for the DNC
Subheading:
We'll have to continue to put up with Hannity referring to this turd as "The Architect"
I don’t want to see more Christine Odonells, Akins and Mourdocks but I also don’t want to see more Mike Castles and Lugars.
Karl rove is just 1 dude, the Tea Party is millions of pissed off American citizens.
Rove does that then the GOP is forever a minority party. Period
For every TEA Party candidate who has lost five have won but the GOP-e HATE conservatives and the TEA people who support them—as I have said before RINOs like Rove would rather rule with the Left in a big socialist government than serve in a free and constitutional one.
THIS IS GREAT NEWS. Well, not really, but it ought to help me sell my new book (see my signature).
The irony of the article is that even Romney’s campaign stated (in a very coded and savvy way) that it wasn’t the Tea Party that lost the election, it was Rove’s incompetence. From the article:
“Others in the Romney campaign, speaking on the condition of anonymity, were bitter that the super PACs didnt do more to defend the Republican nominee and his business record, particularly in the late summer, when the campaign had run through its own primary-season funding.
We didnt have any air cover, lamented one senior adviser.
That, Rove suggested, was the result of a missed signal.”
To prevent duplication, please don’t alter the published headline. Thanks.
