Two RINO candidates who DID NOT energize the conservative base, and you blame the people for voting their convictions?

If republicans want to WIN, they should do this;

SELECT a HISPANIC CONSERVATIVE (predict TED CRUZ 2016)

He’s a Tea Party Candidate!

Unfortunately, Ted Cruz was born in Calgary Canada, he does not meet the Constitutional requirements to be POTUS.

Newsflash:. No white man from Cuban refugee parents qualifies as “Hispanic” to the majority of Spanish-speakers here, who are from Mexico and Puerto Rico. He can stand up there and talk about his father coming here and shoveling shit, but it’s not going to cut it with the mariachi crowd - just as a happily-married pro-life woman like Sarah Palin is an anathema to the viewers of “The View”.
You can’t play identity politics by saying “me too” while being unaware of the meaning underlying its tribal masquerade. And it is a sign of contempt to not know, to not bother to get what it’s really about - suppose I said “next time let’s run a man” and I thought that a nerdy 98 lb weakling college professor could beat the opposition’s candidate who was a handsome, virile, war hero star athlete - and then I got all mad at you when you pointed out to me that while my nerdy guy was a man, he didn’t qualify as “a man” to the macho voters. It would be too obvious to even talk about, wouldn’t it? Well that’s how much a white Cuban from an anti Castro family reads as “one of us” to mixed-blood part Indian Central Americans and mixed-blood part Negro Puerto Ricans.

Good idea. Here are two other good ideas:

- Fire up the old Ward Politics of the 1920s. Play identity but NOT grievance. Be the local Godfather and Patron that takes care of the neighborhood.
- Develop some bloody technology so we can match the personal contact the other side has.

Plenty of room here. Plenty of it.

This election has me CONVINCED that conservatives can only win next time if they run a candidate of color (black or brown) who will garner the votes of the dimwits who vote solely on skin color and social background.

-Herman Cain was an option (and I think he should have stayed in the race, just like Slick Willie stayed in the WH after being impeached for his sex escapades)

-Rubio seems too white to garner hispanic vote, but is a good start.

That's actually a good idea. Ideology and color (unfortunately) are just fine but one little question - does he know how to run anything...i.e. a business ...an organization of any sort? I don't know his background.

To every Republican there is always going to be some other Republican who is a RINO. This cannot endure but I fear it will never change. I see no way out of this mess because our side refuses to play ball unless we see perfection in our candidates.

I have come to the point of despising "principle" voters. My principles tell me to ALWAYS do everything possible to stop ALL evil Democrats but evidently there are not enough of us and now it may be too late.

I am soured on the whole process and it's just as much because of the "principled" Republicans as Democrats. I see them on the same side. Flame away, I don't care but your way is responsible for this mess from which there is no hope.
