After Romney's unfortunate loss, we see the weaker sisters of the GOP now pushing to cut back on the so-called "social issues." They feel we must pander to the godless liberals to get votes. Got news for them. Not only, no, but hell no! That's exactly the wrong formula. We cannot and do not want to try to out pander the socialist democrats. That's a losing proposition from the git go.

FR is and will remain a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-borders, pro-constitution, pro-small (constitutionally limited) government, pro-defense, independent, grassroots conservative site!! GOP-e RINOs and pushers of "moderation" can get with America's founding program or get lost.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Without God, without life, without family, without liberty, without unalienable rights there is nothing.

We do not rollover for Obama and the godless socialist democrats. We do not become godless democrats-lite. We continue fighting to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity. We continue building pro-America, patriotic conservative grassroots tea party enthusiasm and we retake our government at the state and local levels. We use the tenth amendment to block the feds. We lean on our Republican majority in the congress to not authorize excessive spending or new taxes or new debt. We do not let them raise the debt limit again!! We lean on our governors and state legislatures to resist the feds at every turn.

We build on our conservative majorities majority in 2014!! We retake the senate in 2014 and kick the traitor Harry Reid to the curb!! We vow to be better prepared in 2016!! We must run a Reagan conservative!

We the grassroots conservatives should run our own online tea party primary before the Republican primary so we can vet and narrow down the list of acceptable conservative candidates to no more than three, preferably just one or two. We must not let the GOP-e split our conservative vote again in the Republican primary and allow a loser RINO to waltz in!!

Remember, Ronald Reagan said America's best days lie ahead:

The heart of America is strong; it's good and true. The cynics were wrong; America never was a sick society. We're seeing rededication to bedrock values of faith, family, work, neighborhood, peace, and freedom—values that help bring us together as one people, from the youngest child to the most senior citizen.

A society bursting with opportunities, reaching for its future with confidence, sustained by faith, fair play, and a conviction that good and courageous people will flourish when they're free—these are the secrets of a strong and prosperous America at peace with itself and the world.

How can we not believe in the greatness of America? How can we not do what is right and needed to preserve this last best hope of man on Earth? After all our struggles to restore America, to revive confidence in our country, hope for our future, after all our hard-won victories earned through the patience and courage of every citizen, we cannot, must not, and will not turn back. We will finish our job. How could we do less? We're Americans.

Carl Sandburg said, "I see America not in the setting sun of a black night of despair • . . I see America in the crimson light of a rising sun fresh from the burning, creative hand of God... I see great days ahead for men and women of will and vision."

I've never felt more strongly that America's best days and democracy's best days lie ahead. We're a powerful force for good. With faith and courage, we can perform great deeds and take freedom's next step. And we will. We will carry on the tradition of a good and worthy people who have brought light where there was darkness, warmth where there was cold, medicine where there was disease, food where there was hunger, and peace where there was only bloodshed.

Let us be sure that those who come after will say of us in our time, that in our time we did everything that could be done. We finished the race; we kept them free; we kept the faith.

Celebrate, is not how we would describe it.
Commemorate would be more appropriate. (words can be so powerful).
The Fallen and veterans from: WW1,2,korea ,Falklands, Iraq, Afghanistan ,&c are remembered at church services and war memorials all over the country.
It is a very moving occasion for all those who have lost and/or served.
But yes, Remembrance Sunday was yesterday.
I wore my Poppy all day.

I stand corrected. Here it is also Remembrance Day and generally we call it Veteran’s Day. I missed both my poppy and the parade.

Veteran’s Day parades are held everywhere and all end at cemeteries to commemorate the country’s heroes.

I had a Vespa, white and newer than that one. A great scooter but I like motorcycles more and had several of those.
