It no longer makes any economic sense for a restaurant to hire full time employees.

"Economic sense" is as alien to the communist rejects as the Ten Commandments.

All they know is the government model: success is nothing but a function of receiving funding/subsidies/grants/handouts from the ever-bearing government money tree.

The perverse concept of divorcing market forces from the market is sown early and often, as it is planted in the kiddies' minds all throughout the government school experience. For example: the schools suck the taxpayers dry while perpetuating and promoting the "need" for endless fundraisers. Never is there any thought given to how the schools are p!ssing away the liquid nourishment they already receive, oh no... the taxoholics *always* need more money. The townsfolk and pols (if there are any responsible pols remaining) who demand accountability and fiscal restraint are perceived as stingy, greedy child-haters.

The result is that higher taxes = good, so the higher they go the more "success" for everyone all around. Reality is a fundamental truth that is not only unwelcome, it must be destroyed. Applebee's is excoriated for considering a rational market decision because the offended and outraged have no clue or care about that which dares to exist outside the government model.

The World of Sheker (falsehood) is determined to stamp out the competition.

And here we are, staring down the beast we know as the Obama nation of desolation.
