Maybe somewhere, but never in this state could you have gotten change from a food stamp purchase.
It doesn’t HAVE to be permanent here, if we get some half-bright officials back in control of things.
BUMP
Good story
Sleep well!
That's what the phone and cable companies do when breaking down their bills, why not Papa Johns? Why not more prominently on gas pumps?
How much does it cost?
They will make sure the underclass voter base sticks around by subsidizing it
Liberals don’t understand Econ 101
That’s what they get for taking Sociology 101 instead of classes that will help them get a job in the real world.
Like I have said before, the good guys in ATLAS SHRUGGED were insane and unrealistic but she had the bad guys pegged!!
Not only did they reelect the man at the top but 13 senators who voted for this monstrosity won again so I guess people are going to have to learn the hard way how this law affects us. If the ill effects are felt over the next 2 years then maybe the 2014 midterm will be a bad one for Dems.
Shrug, Baby, Shrug!
The tanning salon I used to use did something similar after that tax on indoor tanning passed a couple of years ago. The owners posted big signs on the counter and the front door informing customers that tanning prices were being increased "due to the Obama Administration's new tanning tax" or something very similar. They laid the blame squarely where it belonged.
The economy was already tough at that time and people were understandably starting to choose not to renew their tanning memberships, anyway...the Obama tax was just the final nail in the coffin of that poor business.

“If they get together and start a pizza business, then they can do what they wish. Papa John can do what he wishes too. This isnt spite: its cheaper to pay the Obamacare tax fee than to foot the bill for the insurance. The people probably will get paid a little more however. And the pizza price wont go up.”
Higher tax costs are just like an increase in the price of cardboard pizza boxes. In either case, it’s an increase in cost of goods sold and will be passed along to the purchaser of the pizza.
Um, that was tried in another context and the results were really not good.
The tax is less (now) than the insurance plans they’re dumping.
Papa John’s pulled its advertising from the Rush Limbaugh Show after Limbaugh called Sandra (the nymphomaniac) Fluke, a “slut.’
Well, Rush was right and Papa John’s is now reaping what they sowed.
We are boycotting them, as well as other businesses who dropped sponsoring Limbaugh.
They don’t call me MadMax the Grinning Reaper for nothing. I’m swinging the sharpened reaper and saving my money for pro-free enterprise businesses.
How many companies have committed some sin against conservative ideals? I think it would be easier to deal with a whitelist than with the blacklist. It would be smaller.
The Sems knew what would happen. Step 2: single payer system.
Hear Hear! As I’ve posted on another thread no republican governor of a state won by Obama is calling for secession, because it’s foolish! If you believe, I mean truly believe conservative principles, standards and practices are best for the country, you state your case and fight. You don’t cut and run!
But, at some point, you have to concede that the fight is lost and take the proper course of action.
