I disagree. He is a Military man, a GENERAL who has served his country honorably, he messed up in the affair, yes.

But, he will be under oath, and he will tell the truth, he has nothing to lose. His testimony will be verifiable by the tesimony of others. Many know what happened.

Petreaus at this time is at the lowest point of his lifetime, he has been humiliated and has the disdain of so many of his Military friends, that is not something a man of his Military character wants to die with. He will do the right thing and Redeem himself, with TRUTH.

He may tell the truth, but if the truth is in any way damaging to Obama, whatever is left of his reputation will be savagely destroyed.

The Chicago cabal does not play nice and would not hesitate a moment to make up lies about him and even cast aspersions on his distinguished career.

If Petraeus did not know this when he went to work for them, he is quite naive.

...............Petreaus at this time is at the lowest point of his lifetime..................

Well, that’s a yes and a no!

He’s retired from the military, so he keeps his 4star pension, and benefits, regardless of the outcome of his affair; he only has a year plus, of his civilian pension, so he doesn’t give up much; he’s already told his wife about the affair, so either they work it out, or not.

Seems to me that he’s a free agent with about $250k+ in annual retirement benes; just enough to squeek by!
