This is wrong.I looked at my county, card totals 140 something % too. This is being misinterpreted.
Texas is showing voter turn out DOUBLED from ‘04 to ‘12. Yes, between wacky northern libs moving south and envading illegals moving north, we gained 4 extra EV this time. Still, I don’t see how the number of voters rose so high in such a short time.
2012 = 13 to 14 million turn out (the number fluxuates at the Sec of State until it’s offical)
2008 = 8 million turn out
2004 = 7 million turn out
2000 = 6 million turn out
2000 and 2004 are probably historical high turn outs to vote for Bush.
Of course, it’s a given Texas would vote for Romney but to double the turn out is something though I don’t know what it means. That 14 million was 58% of the registered voters which iirc is about the normal percent.
