Well, for the thousandth time, Marco Rubio is not a natural born citizen and does not meet the constitutional qualifications to run for President.

Also, he came out in favor of illegal amnesty.

I agree that we need to get more blacks and Latinos away from the Democrat party, and one way to do that is to appeal to their Christian values, mostly Catholic and Protestant respectively.

But the way to do that with Latinos is to distinguish between those who are legal citizens and those who are drunken, drug smugglingn illegal aliens.

Currently, some of the most conservative bishops are Hispanic. We need to get the bishops to understand that they have to distinguish between aiding and abetting illegals and helping our poorest citizens, who are only brought lower by the floods of illegals coming into the country. Want to help poor Mexicans? Do it in Mexico, a rich country with all kinds of resources.

But, most of all, identify Mexican politicians who have real values, and can be counted on to help bring back the country from its immoral abyss.

If you keep bringing in illegal alien gang-bangers, then you are just bringing in more Democrat voters.

As for blacks, it might help to remind them that the Democrats are the party of slavery. How often have you heard that, outside of FR? Or how often have you heard that Hitler was not a conservative? Why not speak the truth for a change?

For the thousandth time you’re urinating into the wind. If Rubio runs for office in 2016, there’s no one who will stop him. Not you or any of your friends on this forum.

Obama came out in favor of gay marriage and it didn’t dent his vote share among blacks. There simply aren’t a lot of values voters in these communities.

I believe you are wrong factually on the natural born citizen thing, but it is least of the negatives regarding Marco Rubio. Rubio is fools gold for the GOP. Marco Rubio is not going to appeal to Hispanics anymore than Mitt Romney. Rubio has a fatal flaw in his appeal to Latinos, he is of European ancestry. His background is Madrid and Barcelona, not Sinaloa and San Salvador. He has no more appeal to the vast population of Hispanics as Paul Ryan does. Plus Latinos voted for Obama for the same reason everybody else did, for free stuff. The only hope in the long term for the GOP is the conversion of the white liberal. As the demographics of this country marches to its inevitable beat, life will become more and more like prison. In prison, a white liberal will make friends very quickly with those he shunned for the sake of staying alive. This dynamic will play out in the next decades in the larger society.
