What we know is the people on the ground in Benghasia requested assistance. We know Patreus stated no one at CIA refused assistance, inferring that decision came from the POTUS. We know Patreus was to testify before Congress next week. He was possibly blackmailed to testify a certain way or else his skeletons would be revealed. He refused and outed himself to maintain some respect in a shameful situation. This ain’t over by a long shot.
