Exactly! That is the problem with communism, the person creating the product, in this case bread, will make sure his family is fed first! the bread never makes it to the street, thus, starvation ensues, civil discourse begins when the have nots begin to attack the haves to stay alive.

Kinda like raising the floor above you, when the basement’s got 4ft of floodwater in it, makes it seem less deep.
There’s an old saying here in PA Farm Country: “Don’t eat your last apple”. (or you won’t have seeds to plant new trees and grown new apples)

And that movie is almost 40 years old now....
IMHO—the “Reagan revolution” was what bought this country about another 30 years or so...but sadly...we’ve finally run through all that Reagan got for us—including national security....
“Thief in the night”—May INDEED be a reality soon...

I’d like to know what congress knows about what will happen if they don’t raise the debt ceiling. I’m sure they know a lot more than we do. It must be bad.

He is in the backroom getting raped repeatedly as we speak by the liberal socialist, passing him around like a bottle of Jack Daniels during a card game!
The deal has already been struck, just waiting until the terms of the surrender are disclosed to the American people.

Remember the stories about Germany - people pushing around wheelbarrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread?
Could get even worse than that.
HARARE, Zimbabwe, April 25 “How bad is inflation in Zimbabwe? Well, consider this: at a supermarket near the center of this tatterdemalion capital, toilet paper costs $417.”
“No, not per roll. Four hundred seventeen Zimbabwean dollars is the value of a single two-ply sheet. A roll costs $145,750 ”

That was in 2006.

Yes! I didn’t remember that it was from a movie, thought we just listened to it and sang it.
Had to look him up: Larry Norman was the singer/songwriter and later DC Talk (?).
To: madison10
Grew up listening to Larry and many others. Yes you are right that DC Talk recorded it later.
