That's putting it rather mildly. The CIA Director will be required to show up at the Senate and House hearings,one way or another. And he being a good soldier will not try to skip out on any excuses. IMHO

If I understand the restrictions, he cannot speak as a private citizen about any classified matters unless the CIA approves. So though he will show up, he does have an excuse, or rather a requirement, to avoid answering anything that the CIA won’t let him answer.
