I am a bit surprised this didn’t get picked up on his vetting for the CIA position. I thought all senior government officials got vetted by the FBI. (Remember, these were the FBI files that were in the Clinton White House a number of years back that Clintoon had on his political rivals. It’s how they took down some Congressional leaders when they opposed Clinton.) It either means they didn’t vet him, or he mislead them during the vetting process. After close to 20 years, the FBI has given up on vetting.
