Finally, even IF she introduces a bill, AND it passes the Senate, AND it makes it out of committee in the House, it still needs to pass the Republican held House before it makes it to the president’s desk. All of which is highly unlikely. Chances are, just like most crackpot bills, it will die a quick death in a Senate committee.

Not that Obamacare went this route, but I seem to recall lots of "ifs, ands, and buts" to reassure us that wasn't going to happen either .... and it DID. By hook or crook ... they'll keep trying to get it done and one of these day, they just might.

You are absolutely right. How many other outrageous things have come to pass that sane people have said, “Oh, that’ll never happen.”?

If the Democrats could figure out a way to revoke the Constitution through a “budget reconciliation” process, they would. This is exactly how we got unconstitutional Obamacare.

Dems had the House for Obamacare. Boehner may buckle for whatever reason, but there’s no rational reason for a gun ban to pass.
