You are spot on. Have you seen Broadwell? Very pretty lady and very smart. Prediction: Petraeus’s marriage is toast. It’s really a sad development.

This is called the Clinton Gambit. The longer you can delay the truth of Benghazi coming out the more you can sell the public that the death of 4 Americans by abandonment as old news is palatable. Amerika is now a nation of 51% morons. I’m not even sure they’d give a crap so I don’t know why the administration is going through the blackmail and stonewall route. The hubris of the left is at an all time high and for good reason. The Goebellsian media will not hold them accountable and it isn’t clear that at this stage they even can.

Re: Di Fi “distancing herself” from this. There is NO love lost between Feinstein AND Team Obama. If Ulsterman’s sources are to be believed, there is a story about a long time trusted aid if Di Fi who turned up dead. No pervious health issues, no autopsy...and the aide had worked on Obama’s 08 campaign and was privvy to alot of behind the scene “information” about the Presidential candidate. Also...after this, an Obama minion (who acted as head of the CA Dem Party) drained the campaign war cheats of several prominate Dems (notably Di Fi). Throw in the aide’s death notification was about the same time frame as Di Fi “stealing” BHO’s thunder with her OWN announcement of the Bin Laden takedown...and the whole thing smacks of a Tom Clancy novel.
There is waaaay more to this than we will ever learn.
Voicing concerns and writing letters will get you no where. These people need to be prosecuted and go to jail. Only then, will this behavior stop. Democrats need to go to jail.

PRESENTS: Quite a few, including “Happy Birthday” recorded by U2 and a rather nice bottle of vintage 1968 wine to mark the occasion from the absent Al and Tipper.
PRESENT: Jon and Dorothea Bon Jovi flew in for the party, joining the inevitable Democratic A-Listers plus various media types including Tammy Haddad, Jay Carney and Claire Shipman, and Betsy Fischer.

I am suddenly reminded of the former presidential candidate..ole John what’s-his-name..and his “videographer”....
It had long been rumored that something was going on between Petraeus and Broadwell. Her book, co-written with Vernon Loeb, is widely regarded as a valentine to the general. When she was embedded with him in Afghanistan, they went on frequent 5-mile runs together. But Petraeus went on 5-mile runs with many reporters, and few people who knew him took the rumors seriously. In his personal life, he’s always been seen as a straight shooter, a square. Few could have imagined that his end would come as the result of a morals scandal.
According to the Amazon writeup on her book:
Paula Broadwell has more than a decade of military service and nearly two decades of work in counterterrorism and counterinsurgency. She is a PhD candidate at the University of London. Broadwell received an MPA degree from Harvard. She graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy. She lives with her husband and their two children in North Carolina.
