New Jersey Gov. Benedict Arnold Christie revealed that he took the time to make a personal phone call to congratulate Barack Obama on his reelection. Christie was clear that any political chicanery was not discussed:
We didnt have a political strategy discussion. I said congratulations on your win last night Mr. President, he said thank you governor.
Oops. Properly italicized, that last sentence should read, Thank you, Governor.
Christie has lashed out at Republicans, upset with his glowing words for Obama during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, especially Mitt Romneys staffers, saying:
"When you get to the end of a campaign and its unsure of the results, those who fear they may be blamed if things dont go well will try to look for other people to blame. Thats the way it goes.
Heres the way it goes for Christie: he didnt call Romney, simply emailed him his condolences, saying weakly, We haven't spoken on the phone yet."
Theres a shock.
One would suppose that the journey of being the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention to stabbing Mitt Romney in the back a week before the election must have been exhausting for Christie.
No wonder he didnt have the energy to call Romney. And for all of Christie's reputed toughness, he didnt have the ***** to call the man whose dreams and career he sabotaged.
Some tough guy.

AMEN Brother
Christie, he’s like “A bully in a donut shop”
I’m done with both parties! as far as I see it they’re both sleeping in the same bed, Im done
I guess I’m of the old school when it comes to these things. I expect the man to make the call after the first date.
It would seem christy is far more progressive than I thought.
Then again, both of them might have had trouble figuring out which was which...
Just wondering....
Has that other RINO-elitist, Ann Coulter, said anything to defend her love for the CrispyCremeRat?
I was going to change my registration to Independent but Im keeping it as it is in case Crispy gets primary challenge. Steve Lonegan are you ready? Stick a fork in the fat man, he’s done.
In case you missed it, the oroblem is not obama. It is the fools that vote for him.
Christie reminds me of a nerd who gets a little popular in school, gets a huge ego as a result, and ends up alienating all of his former friends. And the new people he tires to be buddies with still think he’s a dork.
This guy agrees with you and has some interesting ideas. A long video but, for me, was worth the time. I just turned it on and went about my work while I listened.

So “Right”Lady- you must have voted for Romney, you must have voted for McCain and no doubt you’ll vote for Christie in ‘16. All you have done is encourage the GOP to run RINO candidates (because they came SOOOOO close). They now think all they have to do is get the hispanic vote, etc. You’ll see them cave in on immigration “reform”, you’ll see them cave in on the budget cuts, etc. in the next few months. Your vote has consequences. We needed MORE conservatives to ignore the RINO candidate. The GOP needs to go after the millions of conservatives that stayed home or just voted down ticket, NOT move to the left to try to get black and hispanic votes. If conservatives would have all just voted for conservative candidates on their ballots then Romney would have been crushed, as he should have. The GOP MIGHT have gotten the message that they need a CONSERVATIVE candidate.
