What is Project Orca? Well, this is what they told us:
"Project ORCA is a massive undertaking the Republican Partys newest, unprecedented and most technologically advanced plan to win the 2012 presidential election."
Pretty much everything in that sentence is false. The "massive undertaking" is true, however. It would take a lot of planning, training and coordination to be done successfully (oh, we'll get to that in a second). This wasn't really the GOP's effort, it was Team Romney's. And perhaps "unprecedented" would fit if we're discussing failure.

I just felt this piece needed to be here on FR as part of the postmortem. Two disasters in two weeks, I'm exhausted!
Who ever heard of THIS?
Was it supposed to be triple secret like Son of Acorn?
Well, Orcas do spend the vast majority of their time under water.
you can't beat a rigged election...you can't....we had the turnout...we had the money ....we had the candidate...we had the enthusiasm...
it was rigged...in swing states....
I received *.pdf files in a timely manner, including my poll watcher credentials. I had no problems with the local poll workers.
Thanks for your reply, I’m glad it worked for some folks at least.
Project ORCA, was that whale of a governor in New Jersey undermining the GOP.
I only heard of this project yesterday, also the dem version (forget their secret code name) which supposedly worked a lot better. Of course they had 4 years to build their database, but this is something the party should be doing at least for their party members. GOTV should be handled by the party, not any given campaign, or what’s the point of the party in the first place?
Due to personal reasons I wasn’t really able to work on this election, which I do regret. I was supposed to be wrapping stuff up around now, but thanks to Sandy I’ve got more on my plate than ever!
I also had no problems. I noted all of the voters who voted on my iPhone and it then went directly to the Romney HQ in real time. I did not have any problem with the poll workers.
IMHO, there was nothing we could do to make Romney win. TPTB decided Zero was the guy that was needed to take America down, and by golly Zero it was gonna be. The cheating is defiant and “in yo face,” as they know that they can and *will* get away with it. It makes me think it’s been like this all along, just not to this degree, but possibly our votes have *never* actually counted.
It’s been quite a depressing wake up call for me, to realize that we are all only pawns in their chess game, and that my “golden years” are going to be anything but golden because these sick mofos decided to bring America to its knees.
May they all rot in hell, along with their children and their children’s children.
That's my honest assessment at this point.
I truly don't see other viable explanations, and I'm doing my best to be objective about things. All the in-the-trenches anecdotal evidence pointed unmistakably to a Romney victory. A big one.
LOL, good one!
Romney’s campaign tried to be tech savvy, but they still failed.
Remember his “Mitt’s VP” app, which promised to inform users first of his running mate? Except twitter knew around midnight, and the app didn’t send a notice until 7:00 in the morning EST.
Thanks for that link. It seems like it worked very well OR was a complete mess. That’s almost worse than it being a total mess.
The massive technology assisted GOTV Plan was to send every registered Republican 500 robo-calls. While I’m eating dinner.
True - one of my friends who lives in Florida who donated to Romney got so many calls he actually was pissed off about it.

Let the other party program the voting machines and run them
Yes there was democrat voter fraud. Also This freeper txrefugee had a post that I think we all should read and spread around:
On CNN today, they revealed that Axelrod & Co. had the 2010 Census sheets from the heavy-minority counties in the swing states. They supposedly knew every house where their voters lived and followed up with absentee ballots etc.(No one has moved in the last two years? Hard to believe.)
Now, if this isnt a recipe for stealing an election, I dont know what is. They could request the ballots, have someone collect them at drop boxes, fill them out and submit them. No wonder the turnout of Blacks, Mexicans, and students actually went up over 08, though the enthusiasm was obviously missing. That doesnt make sense unless someone was doing something shady.

Consider also that Axelrod insisted that the White House be able to control the 2010 census as reported in February 2009.

It was not very good I am registered GOP and I got 50 phone calls to go vote..
What could be a Conservative meme is how Axelrod usurped the 2010 Census data to manipulate the electorate in a way which overwhelmed the true popular mandate.
What represents additional lines of defense include challenging the eligibility of Obama’s candidacy for electoral votes at the state level, and challenging the acceptance of his votes within the Electoral College following the first seating of the new Congress in 2013.
It only requires one judicial ruling or one objection from a Senator for those to occur.
Then there is the “Constitutional Convention” effort which could be established with a vote of the legislatures of 2/3rds of the states to overturn any federal legislation or order.
So there are still some legal scenarios still available to reverse course of a manipulated election. Question is: Could this be another “Tea Party” moment of awakening like in 2009, or will we as an electorate respond to widespread manipulation by just giving up?
