agreed.. this was one of the single worst acts against America, from this last election cycle.
I am suspicious that he was coerced into it for FEMA dollars for his state, but that does not excuse this act of treachery.
He did this to America because he is a self-serving SOB. Reminds me very much of something the maverick John McCain would have done.

Has it occurred to you, as it has to me; that I really loathe REPUBLICANS, damned near as much as I loathe Democrats. Time for them to go the way of the Whigs. We are NEVER going to get a Republican conservative candidate. They are playing us for suckers, just as the Democrats are playing the blacks. They’ll never see another cent from me, and next week, I’m changing to Independent, (and resigning my county committee seat.)
