How many “third” parties do we need? Today there is a political party for every pursuasion. I laugh at people who call for “third” parties when there are over 20 to choose from as it is now

A week ago we had one and a half parties.
As of Tuesday nite we have only one party now. If someone wants to talk about forming an effective opposition party I'm interested in hearing them out.
