In 2008, we had Fred Thompson....he got little to no support from the “party”...In 2012 we had Herman Cain...He got little to no support from the “party”...
Both were very conservative...both had extremely goos common sense...The “elites” did not want them because they were afraid it would upset the “status quo” the “elites” enjoy in Soddom-on-the-Potomac.....
That’s just the point! Fred and Herman had other Conservatives in the primaries who split the vote. Herman had Bachmann, Santorum, Mister NOOT & seems like another 1 or 2. They watered it down, and we ended up getting a flip flopping rino. If Herman hadn’t had the other Conservatives around, because of a pre-Conservative only primary, he would have had enough support to withstand the charges. We can shove a Conservative down the throat of the rnc by doing it that way.
