Agreed.
I love dogs. I love all animals. When I'm driving to or from work and see a rabbit on the side of the road, I go into my trademark, "BUNNIES!!! AWWW CUTE LI'L BUNNIES!!" song.
If I had to shoot that dog, It would have broken my heart.
But if my Family were to be hurt because of my inaction...
It would have destroyed me.
