I honestly doubt we would see much violence. How many in our military want to fight Americans to uphold tyranny? Even if they don't agree with succession most will not have a principled belief in fighting for a broken and divided union. It's not the same time as our first civil war. I support that we attempt something like this to salvage anything we can of the nation we were meant to be, and I believe it's the only option we have with any chance of success; I don't believe it will be violent however, but with that said we must be willing to face whatever happens once we decide to take this road. Even if we fail it is our only choice, and that makes this an easy decision for me. We are collapsing, and need to do it on our own terms, and save what we can of the country our founders envisioned.

They will follow orders. That is what they are trained to do. Don't think otherwise. And there is a significant portion of the military that is Hispanic. They will have little to no feeling about blowing up North Dakota.
